We grow food the natural way – no chemicals, no artificial additives, just pure and delicious goodness straight from the earth. We believe that good food starts with good soil, which is why we take the time to carefully cultivate our crops using traditional methods passed down through generations. From our nutrient-rich soil to our lovingly tended plants, every aspect of our farm is designed to promote health and well-being.
We’re not your average farm, and we’re proud of it. We’re a family-owned and operated business, nestled in the heart of Tamil Nadu’s countryside, and we’re passionate about sharing our love of natural farming with the world.
We believe in doing things the right way – the way that respects the earth and the generations to come. That’s why we take the time to carefully study the characteristics of our seeds, ensuring that each one is grown to its fullest potential using sustainable and eco-friendly methods.
We’re also dedicated to training and empowering the next generation of farmers, especially youth, so that they too can cultivate a better future for themselves and their communities. Our periodical training programs are directed at youth who want to get out of the social matrix and follow their deepest aspirations.
We have a vision for the future of agriculture that goes beyond just growing food. We see a world where nature and communities thrive together in harmony, and where the traditions of the past are honored and respected.
We're on a mission to revolutionize the way we think about food. We believe that healthy, nutritious and chemical-free food should be accessible to everyone, and that it's our responsibility to create a more just and equitable food system.
Our Values are rooted in our respect for nature and our commitment to sustainable practices. We believe that sustainable agriculture is not only possible but necessary for a healthy planet and a fair society.
At our core, we embrace a simple yet profound founding philosophy. We prioritize “Unna unavu, udukka udai, irukka idam,” the fundamental physiological elements of Life
Why? Because humanity’s insatiable greed has tarnished Mother Nature in the pursuit of profit-driven growthOur mission is to challenge this norm by revolutionizing the way we approach these essentials, harnessing traditional methods that harmonize our actions with the wisdom of Nature.
Mahesh’s story is one that’s rooted in legacy and driven by purpose. With a family background deeply ingrained in farming and social responsibility, he knew he wanted to make a difference. Mahesh’s grandfather once owned a hundred acres of land! As time unfolded, the once vibrant connection to the land dimmed, for there emerged a shift in priorities. Mahesh was no exception. But one day, his priorities changed. He made a defining choice about what he wanted from life. And with this one choice, he set out to follow and carry on his grandfather’s legacy.
And so with a brave heart and a clear vision, Mahesh left behind a well-paying corporate job, turning down lucrative job offers abroad, all for the sake of answering his inner calling.
From then on, Mahesh and his wife Sindhuja have dedicated themselves to creating a life that reflects their values. Minimalism is the main characterizing philosophy and living style of their family, and they have aced it. They have embraced simplicity as the ultimate sophistication and have been living without modern conveniences like AC, inverter, fridge, mattresses, pillows, and even newspapers since 2014.
But their dedication to values doesn’t stop there. Their kids are homeschooled and learn through experiential learning. They design their own curriculum, and their education is interdisciplinary, covering everything from physics and math to chemistry and the arts and beyond. Mahesh’s family is doing what top universities today are struggling to do: creating holistic, well-rounded learners who are equipped for the twenty first century.
Mahesh and Sindhuja are more than just natural farmers; they are visionaries who are changing the way we think about sustainable living. Their passion for sustainability, coupled with their background in farming, makes them the perfect role models for the millennial generation who aspire to live a more meaningful and purposeful life.
